I enjoy every aspect of being a dentist, as I not only have the opportunity to improve the oral health of my patients, but their systemic health as well. I am passionate about improving the smiles of my patients; there is nothing more satisfying to me than seeing someone who has not smiled for years finally being able to smile again, sometimes thanking me through tears of joy.
Practicing dentistry is truly a team effort, and my team is behind me helping me provide the high quality care my patients deserve every single day. I have the best dental team I can imagine. They are a joy to work with and are passionate about caring and doing what is best for our patients in a kind and gentle manner.
I completed my undergraduate pre-dental studies at Eastern Illinois University before graduating from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1985 with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. I served in the United States Navy as a dentist until August of 1988, and was in the Navy Reserve Dental Corps until 1993. I have been at my present location in Mundelein, IL, since September of 1988.
Because of my commitment to my patients’ health and happiness, I understand the importance of staying on the cutting-edge of dental technology. I have completed extensive training at the Las Vegas Institute for Dental Studies to improve my expertise in all aspects of cosmetic dentistry and full mouth dental rehabilitation.
I grew up in Arlington Heights, Illinois and attended Arlington High School. I currently reside in Libertyville with my wonderful wife, Teresa, with whom I’ve spent the best 26 years of my life. We have three sons, Bret, Ryan, and Adam, and three dogs, Sampson, Carlos, and Geo. I enjoy all sports and have coached my sons’ basketball and baseball teams in the past. I also love the outdoors and am active in St. Gilberts Knights of Columbus. I have been a dedicated family man, raising my children to be honest and considerate individuals, and having them strive to be the best they can be.
